Chris Plant

Managing Director – Lafarge Asphalt and contracting

Chris Plant graduated from the University of Bradford, West Yorkshire, with a degree in Civil and Structural Engineering. He began his career in the heavy civil engineering and construction sector.

 

Chris joined Lafarge in 1995 as Regional Manager in Contracting and was promoted to Director of Contracting in 2002. In 2007, Chris was appointed to Lafarge's Board of Directors as Managing Director of Asphalt and Contracting.

 

Chris has been a chartered Civil Engineer since 1987; he is a member of the Institution of Civil Engineering and is a Fellow of the Institute of Highways and Transportation.
