Portland Composite Cements

Lafarge cements are ideal for general purpose concreting, and for applications where there are specialised requirements such as early strength, cold weather working, sulphate resistance, etc

  1. CEMblend 50 Blastfurnace Cement

    BLASTFURNACE CEMENT BS EN 197-4 CEM III/A 42,5L
    CEMblend 50 is a factory produced Blastfurnace cement suitable for most applications.

  2. General Purpose Cement

    CEM II

    A CEM II Portland-composite cement suitable for most general purpose applications.

  3. Lafarge Phoenix

    CEM II/B-V 42,5N

    A factory manufactured Portland-fly ash cement. Suitable for:

    • Large pours, to reduce the risk of early-age thermal cracking.
    • Reducing attack on concrete in sulfate conditions.
    • Improved surface finish of concrete.

  4. Mastercrete

    CEM I 32,5R and CEM II/A-LL 32,5R CEMENT
    An enhanced cement, supplied in weather resistant plastic packaging.

  5. Portland Limestone Cement

    CEM II/A-LL 42,5/52,5

    Contains a controlled level of high purity limestone. Conforms to the requirements of BS EN197-1 for CEM II/A-LL and contains 6-20% limestone.

  6. The CEMblend Bespoke Range

    PORTLAND CEMENT – BLASTFURNACE SLAG BLENDS
    The CEMblend range consists of, customer specified, bespoke blends of CE Marked Portland cement (BS EN 197-1 CEMI 52,5N) and CEMarked ground granulated blastfurnace slag (BS EN 15167-1 ggbs). The blends are designated as CEMBlend ‘X’, where ‘X’ signifies the target ggbs content of the blend.
