Cement, in all its many forms, is at the heart of building. It is the common base material used for casting concrete, bricklaying, rendering and screeding, and so plays a major part in nearly all construction projects.
Lafarge cement products have been building Britain for over 100 years and provide effective cement-based solutions for construction.
Lafarge bulk products are readily available, with attributes and performance characteristics that fulfil the requirements of many different types of application.
Our bulk products are backed by an extensive sales and technical support network that includes specification, application and health and safety advice. Contact details are listed further down this page.

Effective transportationLafarge Cement is the only cement manufacturer offering coverage across the whole of the UK, thanks to our network of plants and 15 depots and terminals (11 of which are rail-fed).
We have invested in our rail infrastructure to reduce 40,000 road movements a year, which equates to a reduction of 12,400 tonnes of CO2 related to vehicle carbon dioxide emissions. To minimise the impact of our road delivery vehicles, we are continually investing in larger and lighter cement tanks so as to increase the carrying capacity and thus reduce road movements. |
