Contributing to a greener transport future

Lafarge's contribution to sustainable transport and road construction was in the spotlight in February 2011 when its Asphalt & Contracting business gave a Masterclass seminar at the Sustainable Transport Conference, held in Westminster.
The conference featured keynote addresses from the Minister for Sustainable Transport, Norman Baker MP and the Shadow Secretary of State for Transport, Maria Eagle MP.
Lafarge's Asphalt & Contracting business is a strategic road maintenance partner and materials supplier to local authorities across the UK where it uses its passion for innovation to help them deliver sustainable road improvements.

Lafarge's Masterclass seminar will be presented by its Asphalt & Contracting Commercial Director Andy Ince.
Andy will ask delegates from across the transport sector whether they are ready to change?
Explaining, Andy said: "Delivering on sustainability targets is vital, even in these challenging economic times. We have to think and act differently. Be collaborative. Be innovative and work in different ways".
